David Embry Solest

David is a classically trained musician, experienced group facilitator, and teacher of kundalini yoga and dream work. He has studied vocal awareness in Ireland, California and at Hollyhock on Cortez Island near Vancouver BC with Chloë Goodchild through 'The Naked Voice' facilitator training. As well, David has trained in France with Iegor Reznikoff studying Gregorian chant.

He has given workshops in Calgary, Victoria and Vancouver. David is at present involved in leading 'Naked Voice' © and 'Singing Field' © workshops first developed by Chloë Goodchild.

He is developing a series of workshops exploring 'The Way of Voice' dedicated to using the voice as a means of spiritual transformation. As an acomplished performer with both flute and voice, David performs as a soloist and in ensembles with a variety of groups.

His major project and umbrella organisation is 'Blue Lotus Music' promoting 'Self-Discovery through Sound Awareness'. When offering sound and healing music in performance as well as in workshops, David brings his passion and enthusiasm into all the projects he becomes involved in. David is enthusiastically working in conscious cooperation with the evolutionary processes of human growth and healing through music and the voice.
